Further East
again is the Kennedy Space Centre at Cape Canaveral where you may
be lucky enough to see a launch, and the Atlantic coast beaches such
as Daytona. This area is around a one hour drive from Orange Tree. To the south is Interstate 4, which gives access to gulf coast beaches, Tampa and St. Petersburg together with Busch Gardens theme park within a 45-60 minute drive. |

west is Lake Louisa State Park which is a wildlife sanctuary and nature
reserve which offers a small beach and picnic facilities as well as
various water sports at certain times of the year. This is also the
area where you will find an abundant choice of superb golf courses,
such as Highlands Reserve and Legends… Northward is the pretty small town of Clermont with its Historic Trailhead area boasting delightful lakeside walks and shops. |
